Please note a credit card is required and will be kept on file to collect payments immediately after your sessions.
Fees
​
Fees are according to the fee schedule of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), providing fair rates so counselling services can be accessible. These fees are applicable to sessions at the Hillside location.

Individual Session (50 mins) - $165
​
Check-in Sessions (25 min) - $87.50
Extended Healthcare Plans
​
Many extended health benefit plans (e.g. Blue Cross, Sunlife, ManuLife, Great West Life, etc.) will reimburse you for the services of a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) or a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). Our primary counsellor, Bernadette, is certified as both an RCC and CCC. Check your plan's details to see if you are covered by a registered or clinical counsellor.

Bernadette is an approved First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) Health Benefits mental health service provider. Her vendor number is 9471-1. First Nations individuals receive counselling covered by the FNHA.
​
Bernadette is also an approved provider with Medavie Blue Cross and Veterans Affairs Canada. Reimbursement for sessions is covered through the extended health benefits programs for Canadian Veterans.

If your plan covers you for counselling or psychotherapy services, you will pay Victoria Counselling and Therapy for the cost of the session in full, and then submit your receipt to your extended health care provider for reimbursement.
Cancellation Policy
​
Bernadette requires 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. She is committed to providing every client with exceptional care. When a client cancels without giving enough notice, it prevents another client from being seen. For this reason, the full fee of the session is charged for missed appointments or late cancellations.

If you are running late, please contact us. We will do our best to give you the full 50 minutes, however your session will be shortened if there are other clients after you.
